As the summers have approached, it`s time to start making some alterations inside your home for sunnier days and warmer weather. Shopping and exploring for bed linens of high quality that won`t break the bank can often be a daunting task that may leave you baffled. Most of us want to have a bedroom which looks trendy and stylish in the most economical way, which is completely understandable.
With change in season and weather we tend to made modifications in our room according to it. Therefore spending too much over it may not appear very wise. All the products that are available in the market today are made of “luxury fine linen” but somehow the name doesn’t match up with the quality standards. They end up feeling like a rough tablecloth irrespective of their high thread count rate.
Although it may appear very simple and easy on the surface level, but if you tend to go in depth and detail then obviously you have to invest in a lot of time. Every bedroom needs a layer of soft cotton bed sheet that will compel its owner to spend time over those linens. But one should not get carried away with the fascinating looks and home décor ideas that will not serve you well in the long run.
What fabric or material you choose should be according to your personal preference. Go for cotton linens if you are looking for something very light, durable and breathable. They will keep you impart a cooling effect in the summer. They are great in humid areas or in atmosphere which has high-humidity. For those, who live in warmer regions can go for satin which are generally pricier. It has an elaborate weave that provides it more surface area and softness along with it.
While thread count does play an eminent role in quality sheets many people believe higher thread count means delicate texture and better quality sheets. It is not necessary that it guarantees high end product. So always look for sheets that are at least 200 counts or more. Don`t shy away from mixing patterns and combine large prints with small ones and complete the look with pillow covers in contrasting shades.
